TENT FRAME ANGLE KITS DO NOT INCLUDE FRAME POLES.

WILDERNESS ANGLES ARE 120 DEGREES.

Click angle kits for instructions on how to measure tent for B & C measurements if you are not positive your angle kits are not 120 degrees.

If your provided tent angle measurements are not 120 degrees we will contact you. You will be required to pay for custom angles.

We will calculate your degree of angles based on your tent measurements. Shipping angles to and from customer will not be reimbursed if you order the wrong angles or provide inaccurate tent measurements.

Wilderness tent angle joint kits can ship 1-2 DAYS after ordering.  Most 12', 14', 15', 16' & 18' wide tents require the 120º angle joints.

Strongly recommend you read Tent Frame Information and Recommendations before building your frame or setting up your tent.
Wilderness tent frame angle kit will have a 4-way angle at the front ridge, upon request, to allow you to extend a pipe for an awning. If 4-way on front ridge is not requested, a normal 3-way angle will be provided.

Wilderness angles are 1 3/8" galvanized steel with support braces for additional strength & durability.

Purchasing angle kits and then purchasing 1” inside diameter, thin walled, electrical conduit at a local hardware store is the most economical approach to purchasing an internal frame. Internal frame shipping charges are very high due to the weight of an internal frame. Typical frame savings using an angle kit on a 12x14 internal frame is $200.

I will provide assistance if you have trouble understanding angle kit instructions.

85% of my customers buy an angle kit and make their own frame.

Angle kit frames made of steel galvanized conduit.  A maximum distance of 6' is recommended between rafters. More than 6' causes a sag in the roof and significantly reduces snow load carrying capacity.

A tent should never fit tight on a tent frame. A tight fit puts pressure on the seams and zippers and will eventually cause damage. If your door zipper does not zip easily it is usually caused by rafter being too long.  A tight zipper will eventually fail.  Cut the rafters down from 1/2'' to 1'' depending upon how hard it is to zip the wall tent zippers.

YOU MIGHT ALSO WANT TO CONSIDER :

Rubber bottom caps. Rubber bottom caps are put on the bottom of your frame legs to protect your sod cloth or floor.  Caps also prevent any dirt getting into the bottom of frame legs.

Frame bags.  Frame bags are used to store and transport your frame poles. Helps insure all your frame poles are in one place and you have no surprises when you reach your campsite.

10" Sleeves. Sleeves are used when the vehicle you are transporting your frame in is too short for your rafters.  Cut the rafters in half and when setting up your frame , the sleeve connects the 2 piece rafters. I recommend gluing the sleeve on the half rafters to insure you don't lose them.

Leg Supports. Primarily used to attach  tent frame legs to a platform.  Tent frame legs can easily fall off a platform during high winds. Tent platforms normally have a smooth surface compared to the ground and that is why the legs can be moved when there are strong winds.

TENT SIZE AND RECOMMENDED NUMBER OF RAFTERS

12 x 14 4 Rafter. IMPROVED RIDGE SUPPORT. When you use a 3 rafter in a 12x14 there will only be 1 rafter in the middle of the tent supporting the roof. A 4 rafter has 2 rafters evenly spaced in the middle supporting the roof. You get twice the interior roof support with a 4 rafter angle kit.

16 x 20 5 Rafter. BETTER CONDUIT UTILIZATION. A 4 rafter frame kit on a 16x20 results in 9 ridge and eave cuts at 6' 6" of your 10' steel conduit sections. One cut per 10' conduit length, a 4' 6" waste. A 5 rafter frame kit allows cuts at 5' for 2 cuts per 10' conduit, better utilization 2 cuts per 10' conduit vs 1 cut for a 4 rafter. More snow load carrying capability.

16 x 24 6 Rafter. BETTER CONDUIT UTILIZATION. A 5 rafter angle kit on a 16x24 results in 12 eave and ridge cuts at 6' of your 10' steel conduit sections. One cut per 10' conduit length, a 4' waste of conduit. 6 rafter frame kit allows cuts slightly less than 5', better utilization 2 cuts per 10' conduit vs 1 cut for a 5 rafter. More snow load carrying capability.

Fun toy
Pattern Name: Checkered
This was a very fun toy but didn't last too long with our 1-year-old lab who is an aggressive chewer.

Perfect for active dogs
This is a must-have if your dog loves to fetch. It throws the ball far with very little effort and keeps your hands clean—no more slobbery chuckit balls. Lightweight, durable, and makes playtime much more fun (and less tiring for me!).

Way better than the M size for us
Like most people that have dogs I first went with the M size or Tennis ball size (about 2.5") chuckit for my 65-70 lbs Lab. After having that for a while and my dogs' evolution from liking to chase the ball to wanting to catch it, I started seeing how the M size could cause some life threating problems for my pup. I was on the fence for several weeks when I came across this option that included a 3" ultra ball as well as a 3" fuzzy tennis ball like ball. These balls can fly so much farther with less effort and my furry friend seeming to like them more than the 2.5 inch. It also seems to fit their mouth better allowing them to enjoy 'the game' (you lost by the way) much more. If you have a larger dog or your dog has a big mouth, please trust me when I say skip the 2.5" M size balls. You and your dog will haves much more fun with this 3" size

Chuck it ball launcher
This is great! I have a blue healer that loves it. She will play fetch with the ball all day long. The launcher is easier on my shoulder. I can throw the ball twice as far and when she brings the ball back I can grab it with the launcher without touching a spit covered ball. Awesome buy!
